Freedom Reclaimed: Creating Conditions for Agency, Opportunity, and Hope

January 21, 2027 | 10:00 AM–4:30 PM ET | Virtual

Registration is now open for the second annual HEAL Virtual Summit on Human Trafficking in Healthcare, presented by HEAL Trafficking and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Everyone deserves the freedom to live safely, pursue opportunity, and shape a future of their own choosing. Human trafficking undermines that freedom, impacting autonomy, dignity, and access to opportunity.

This year’s Summit, Freedom Reclaimed: Creating Conditions for Agency, Opportunity, and Hope, will bring together healthcare professionals, survivor leaders, researchers, advocates, and community partners to explore how our collective response to trafficking can support meaningful choice, opportunity, and hope.

A Day of Learning and Connection

Held during National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the Summit offers a full day of learning and conversation for professionals and community members working across healthcare, public health, and allied systems.

Through keynote presentations, a panel discussion, interactive workshops, and a conversation with survivor leaders, participants will explore approaches that center survivor voice, strengthen collaboration, and expand access to care, resources, and opportunities.

The Summit welcomes participants at all experience levels, including those who are new to human trafficking response and experienced professionals looking to connect with others across the field.

Speaker and session details will be announced soon.
