HEAL Essentials Certificate
In Anti-Trafficking Response

It’s time to move beyond awareness and build practical skills for responding to human trafficking across healthcare and public health systems through a structured, live-learning certificate program.

You’re ready to respond—now build the foundation.

Overview

The HEAL Essentials Certificate in Anti-Trafficking Response is a structured, live-learning program designed to build foundational knowledge and practical skills for professionals responding to human trafficking across healthcare, public health, and allied systems.

Participants move through a cohesive learning arc—from foundational understanding to ethical engagement, trauma-informed practice, and coordinated systems response—gaining the tools needed to respond confidently in real-world settings.

This program is ideal for individuals and teams seeking a clear, practical entry point into anti-trafficking work. While participants of all experience levels are welcome, the certificate is intentionally designed as an essential, beginner-level program that builds shared understanding across disciplines.

Participants may enroll in the full certificate program or begin with individual trainings based on their interests and schedule.

HEAL Essentials Certificate

The HEAL Essentials Certificate is designed as a step-by-step learning experience, guiding participants from foundational understanding to practical, real-world response.

This is an ideal starting point for individuals and teams new to anti-trafficking work, while still offering meaningful structure and insight for those looking to strengthen their approach.

Participants may begin with any session, though we recommend starting with the May 12 training as a strong entry point.
