Ciara Myers

Ciara Myers is a consultant and the director for strategic communications at the Meyer Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-area philanthropy, where she has helped shape the organization’s voice, communications strategy, and public presence since 2016. In this role, she leads how the Foundation communicates its mission, investments, and impact to grantees, partners, and the broader community.

Ciara’s career in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors spans more than 15 years, with earlier experience at the Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers and The Fishing School through AmeriCorps’ Public Allies program.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and professional certifications from the Nonprofit Marketing Guide’s Communications Director Mentoring Program and the Arizona State University Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation.
